Some interesting Repo! facts I found.
- It was originally only ten minutes long.
- Skrillex, along with lots of other people helped with recording the soundtrack.
- Sarah Brightman was only hired to replace the original Blind Mag.
- Bill Mosely (Luigi) is SIXTY YEARS OLD.
- Nearly all of the main cast of the cast also appear in Terrence and Darren’s latest project, The Devil’s Carnival.
- The band leader in “We Started This Opera Shit” is Darren Smith, the guy who wrote the story and music along with Terrence Zdunich
- It earned a world record for the most songs written for one film, a total of seventy-three tracks recorded, with ten being omitted.
- There’s another half hour’s worth of unseen footage from the film which has been shown during showings of The Devil’s Carnival, but nowhere else.
- According to Mag’s repossession papers (which were scanned and leaked online by a fanpage and is available to perv at on “Reporares”) Mag was born in 2017, making her forty years old in the film.
- There is a possibility that there will be a sequel AND a prequel in the future.
- Many people think there is a continuity error when Mag rips out her eyes, because in the next shot her eyes are gone from the spikes she wore, but actually, when she smiles you see them slip off them.
- “Amber Sweet” is the characters stage-name, her real name being Carmela Largo. Also Blind Mag’s name is Magdeline Defoe.
- Most of Amber and some the Zydrate addicts’s costumes actually belonged to Paris Hilton.
- The reason the band members at the opera wore masks wasn’t for aesthetics; The movie was originally only allowed a certian number of extras, so they covered their faces.
- In the cemetar scene at the begining, we see the producer (Peter Block)’s name on a gravestone.
